Do I need an NDIS plan to use your services?

Most of our services are funded under the NDIS. If you don't yet have a plan, we can still chat — we'll help you understand the process and connect you with a Local Area Coordinator.

How quickly can support start?

For most services, we can begin support within 5–7 days of your first call. Complex supports may need a slightly longer onboarding to ensure your care team is properly trained.

Can I choose my carer?

Yes. We offer a choice of male or female carers and try to match you with someone whose communication style and personality suit you. If the match isn't right, we'll change it.

Is SafeSpace a registered NDIS provider?

Yes. We're a registered NDIS provider operating across Victoria. Our staff complete NDIS Worker Screening and Working with Children Checks before commencing.

Which parts of my plan can fund SafeSpace services?

Our services typically fall under Core Supports (assistance with daily living, social and community participation), Capacity Building, and registered group categories. We'll help you map services to the right line items.

I'm self-managed / plan-managed — can I still use you?

Absolutely. We work with self-managed, plan-managed, and NDIA-managed participants. Billing is straightforward and we provide clear weekly statements.

What if my support needs change over time?

Plans evolve. We schedule a formal review every 4–8 weeks and adjust care any time you need. Just call your coordinator — no paperwork to start the conversation.

Do you provide overnight or 24/7 support?

Yes, including active overnight, sleepover, and 24/7 support arrangements where funded by your plan.

What's your approach to complex care?

Our complex support team is trained for high-intensity daily personal activities, behaviour support, and psychosocial recovery. We coordinate closely with your clinical team and conduct monthly clinical reviews.
